Alan Buchanan – Independent Financial Adviser Alan is a dedicated professional with over 40 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry as an Independent Adviser. Over the years, he has gained a wealth of knowledge of all aspects of Financial Services, from pensions and investment advice to group insurance risks and business protection. Alan prides himself on being approachable and honest. He is intent on continuing to build on our relationships with clients and their families. Alan is highly trusted and offers support and advice to generation after generation. Over the years, Alan has gained numerous qualifications, the most notable of which was becoming a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (1983) and later as regulations increased, a Pension Transfer Specialist. A Fellow is the Chartered Insurance Institute’s highest membership level so you can be sure that the advice Alan offers is top quality. In his spare time away from the business, Alan enjoys umpiring hockey matches, playing golf and walking his dog, Apollo. He also enjoys spending quality time with his wife, four children and three young grandchildren.
Jack Buchanan – Independent Financial Adviser Jack began working with Alan, after completing his A-Levels, as an Administrator. Jack built up his knowledge of the financial services industry by supporting Alan in handling client affairs. As the years progressed, Jack assumed more responsibility within the firm, focusing on broader fund research and management of client reviews. He has gained multiple qualifications, including the LIBF Level 4 Diploma for Financial Advisers in 2018. Jack enjoys talking to clients and is always on hand to answer technical queries. Outside of work, Jack is a keen hockey player and is currently Captain of the First Team at Sale Hockey Club.

Lydia Buchanan
Lydia Buchanan – Independent Financial Adviser Lydia joined the family business in October 2020 after completing her Masters in Business Strategy and her Law Degree from Lancaster University. Alongside learning all aspects of the business, she achieved the LIBF Level 4 Diploma for Financial Advisers in September 2021. Being very much a people person, her favourite part of the job is meeting clients and discussing their individual needs. Lydia is looking to specialise in intergenerational wealth management and, having an interest for positive social change, investing responsibly and sustainably. In her spare time, Lydia enjoys fitness activities including attending the gym, cycling and going for long walks with her Husky, Skye.
